The Township Highway Department has jurisdiction over the unincorporated roads in the township. In addition to maintenance, repair and plowing snow they erect and maintain all traffic signs, issue driveway permits, trim and remove trees in the township right of ways.
Bremen Township is working with Cook County Highway Department, County Commissioners and the Water Reclamation Department for a solution to rain water management in the unincorporated areas.
